Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The E-690 is a practical cover for small SLR and digital cameras such as the Nikon D70, the Canon Rebel series, Sony Mavica series, similar and smaller cameras. When suddenly caught by a rain shower the E-690 slips quickly over your camera and allows you to keep on shooting. Access to all camera and lens controls via two side sleeves. A clear view through the transparent TPU enables easy monitoring all the time. Full-length double zipper provides bottom closure when hand held or on a tripod.

Camera raincover August 29, 2008 Thomas E. Harris (Traverse City, MI United States) Unbelievable... I can use this with my, D80, HV20 camcorder. Used this in Hawaii whale watching, great product.

The first thing that happened is that the plastic "ring" to be used to make an opening for the lens was very egg shaped and since the lens is not that shape I tried to gently squeeze the plastic into a shape that would work and it immediately snapped. After taping the ring and getting it somewhat round I discovered the opening is too small to allow the self focusing ring to work on my Canon lens. The idea is not too bad but the product itself must be designed for something other than an SLR. I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THIS PRODUCT FOR USE WITH ANY SLR.
