5 out of 5 stars Great Product. Great Deal!!   December 31, 2008

Very handy when you have your underwater camera in the pool or ocean. More than half off of what olympus charges.

5 out of 5 stars Keeps your camera at the surface.   December 29, 2008

I'm using this on an Olympus 1030SW and it works very well. The buoyancy provided by the strap is just enough to give a slight rise to the camera in fresh water. The camera will come up but the strap barely breaks the surface. In salt water it would probably provide a bit more of a boost. When diving or snorkeling that's probably a good thing as it won't "pull" at you when trying to use it; however if you're concerned about losing sight of the camera you might want to attach a bright fishing bobber to the convenient loop in the center of the strap. The strap attaches with a quick release which provides sufficient resistance that I'm not concerned about an accidental release. If you're going to use your 1030 in a lake or ocean, I strongly recommend this strap.

4 out of 5 stars A must for trips to the sea   December 27, 2008

I tried this last weekend when I went to the sea. It works fine and really maintains floating the camera.

5 out of 5 stars Works as Described   December 11, 2008

After losing a Pentax Optio on a Kayaking trip, I figured it would be a good idea to invest in flotation for my new Olympus 1030. The camera may be waterproof, but it'll sink to the bottom of the ocean if you don't have some flotation. This strap float is great. It holds my Olympus Stylus 1030sw above water very easily. I'm satisfied with the purchase.

5 out of 5 stars Must have if camera is going to be around water   October 24, 2008

I took my olympus stylus 1030 to Lake Powell for a week and I guarantee I would have dropped my camera playing with it in the water. This worked better than I was expecting. I read a couple reviews about similar products that didn't float cameras and was kind of worried. Well I don't have anything to be worried about now. I could throw the camera off the house boat into the water and it would stay right on the top, not really ever going under the water at all. I would also leave the camera in the water for up to 2 hours while swimming and it never absorbed water like other people stated. Mine just kept floating like it said it would. When I am not by water I replace this strap with the normal one that came with the camera because this is way too bulky for everyday use. I would recommend this product to anybody with a waterproof camera that is going to be using it in the water (I don't know why else you would buy a waterproof camera but i wanted to clarify).
