A Great Kids' Dictionary January 21, 2007 Tina Burnette (Bellingham, Wash., USA) 12 out of 13 found this review helpful
This dictionary is beautifully legible. However, there are no children in our household. We are just two Scrabble-playing, college-educated adults, and most of the words we look up in the "Oxford American Large Print Dictionary" are not there. Based on the "Oxford American Minidictionary," 2004, this large-print edition offers no etymologies, nor does it distinguish between transitive and intransitive verbs.
