Excellent Buy November 24, 2008 Dawn C. F. Haynes-Grimes (Barbados) If you are doing a German class, you need this dictionary. I find it really great because it has german-english and english-german listings. Come across a german word you don't know? Look it up in the german section. Have an english word you want to know the translation for, look it up in the English section. How sweet is that. What makes the book extra great is that it gives you the genders of the words (masc. and fem)and in some cases a short sentence showing you how the word is to be used. Great product.
Pronunciation October 18, 2008 JD (Enoch, UT USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I needed a german/english dictionary for pronunciation. Although there is a pronunciation guide in the front of the book, I was expecting to find(as you would in an english dictionary), the pronunciation for each word. I am trying to learn a piece of music. This book didn't really help me at all.
