Better than the suction cup window one which always falls. I still have to be careful when I hit the gas/brake too hard or turn sharply. It slowly vibrates down the dash and I have to move it, but its better than the suction cup marks and sudden falls with that one.

We have used the dashboard mount for about 3 months, and while i do not like it as well as the Garmin mount that I have for my Nuvi it has worked well. It does not move around and seems rugged. The only negative is that the Streetpilot vibrates slightly if the car is on a bumpy surface. It is a good product.

I didn't realize at first that this mount is not a suction cup that sticks to the wind shield, it's a tripod- each of the legs is really heavy so it sits really nicely on the top of the dashboard. The car charger still plugs into the mount the way it does on the original. We're really happy with this buy.

Works great on the undulating dash of my Hyundai Santa Fe. Much easier to put up and down than the suction mount and doesn't fall off the windshield at the most inopportune times.
