Not sturdy enough for teens. November 27, 2008 Tiny Time (Dallas, TX) This looks great and holds a ton of items, but the durability of the handle on ours is very poor. The bar handle has broken twice, the first time within 2 weeks of purchase, the second just recently. We've had to literally put it back together with safety pins through the holes in the bar to keep it from coming all to pieces again. Wish the bar were as sturdy as the wheels and fabric. Not worth the high price for the hassle.
Handle broke in 2 months!!! Do Not Buy this*** November 24, 2008 Michelle T (Atlanta, GA) My 10 year old son used this for 2 months and the handle came completley off...the metal actually broke. This was not worth the money...and I have lost all confidence in the High Sierra brand.
Short lived November 23, 2008 Priscilla Gonzales (Carlsbad) My eight yeat old needed a wheeled backpack, after waiting to her what she thought was forever, it arrived. She loved it! A week later while walking to school, one of the kids fell, and landed right on her week old backpack, snapping the handle off. I guess it was not meant to be. Wish the handle were a little bit strong to stand up to just a occurance. It was a grat backpack. Lots of room.
BackPack September 22, 2008 SgtLil (New York, NY) Great backpack for the price! The bottom seems a little flimsy other then that a great product for the price.
Double Duty September 16, 2008 D. R. Leino (Citrus Heights, CA United States) This backpack on wheels is a great combination for travelers with some off road destinations. I took it to Machu Picchu and where there was a smooth surface I could pull it and when we got on rough trails I simply put it on my back. Worked great!
