 Nice umbrella, shipped too late! December 1, 2008

I needed a clear umbrella for a halloween costume, and it was perfect, but there was a delay in shipping so it arrived Nov. 3rd. I would have paid the extra, but I've never run into that problem before.
It'll make a great jellyfish next year!

The first time I bought this umbrella, it was shipped bent and broken. I should have known better than to go through the trouble of exchanging it. The first time I used my SECOND umbrella, the winds of San Francisco smushed the metal so that it no longer has a bubble shape! The metal is very weak and malleable. You can bend it easily with your hands. I do not recommend buying this item!

I think this umbrella's pretty great for $20. mine works fine and gets lots of compliments as I walk to work, rain or shine. Helps me keep an eye on traffic and my surroundings while staying dry, and has a fun vintage look! matches everything, clearly :)
the only thing I'd change about this umbrella is I'd make it a little bit bigger; it's definitely for 1 person, and not much room to spare so if you have a bulky bookbag, etc. it might get damp. I'm fine w/my messenger bag.

This umbrella was a little larger than expected. I had no problems with breakage like some customers did. I felt the shipping packaging was very secure. Unfortunately, this umbrella does run off onto your legs, but that is a very common occurence with bubble umbrellas as it does not have a wide run off area. Definately more for fashion than function. I still love it though. I do have to recommend washing this item when you receive it though(or just wait until it gets rained on). When I received mine it had a plastic "dust" all over it, similar to latex gloves.

The first time it came in the mail it was broken, which doesn't say much for the quality of the product. It was quickly replaced though which I was very pleased about since it poured down rain the next week. I was extremely disappointed however when I realized that the rain was pouring down the umbrella and directly on to my legs! I was absolutely drenched! I don't reccomend this product.
