4 out of 5 stars Girls skates   January 8, 2009

We bought these for our daughter's 5th birthday, and she loves them. They're easy to put on and take off, they seem very durable. The minor downside is they could have made them more comfortable to wear. All in all, a very nice skate for the money.

5 out of 5 stars Great Learning Skates   January 6, 2009

The skates work well. My daughter,4, can skate (with assistance) just fine. I like the fit and the ability to adjust as her feet grow. She'll be able to use these for several seasons.
Great skates for the price!

5 out of 5 stars Great street and beginner skates   December 27, 2008
C. Whisenhunt (Tyler, Texas)
Bought these skates for 4 and 6 year old grandaughters. They have had some experience ice skating and have skated two times on a friends rink skates. The wheels on these skates are great for a beginning street skater. The adjustable feature was one of the selling points for me and has been a great feature. A simple push of a button changes the size and there is no "give" after any adjustment. Great beginner skates for street skating.

My 6 year old was learning to roller skate this summer at our local skating rink. She loved it so much we bought her these skates for her birthday. She loves them. They are comfortable (more so than the rink rentals) and she can put them on by herself. I usually need to tighten them for her. They were perfect and at $30 I couldn't beat the price. Since they will grow with her, she will have them for a long time. Just a note that she has not used these on cement. She just wears them at the rink and in the house. So I can't comment on the durability of the wheels for that purpose.

5 out of 5 stars My daughter loves these skates!   September 29, 2008

My daughter wears a size 13T - 1 street shoe, and the smallest setting on these skates fits her just fine. They are heavily padded on the inside so she can slip them on without socks for use in the driveway with no discomfort. She has taken them to the skating rink and they also performed well there. They are chunkier than the rental quad skates from the rink (you know, the ones you used to rent as a child), but she skated for three hours with no problems. I think that these provide more ankle support than the rentals.
