It includes a stopwatch function that can measure events down to 1/100 of a second for the first 60 minutes (and down to 1 second from 60 minutes to 100 hours), and it offers elapsed and split time modes, and 1st-2nd place times. Other timekeeping features include: - World Time: 29 time zones (30 cities), city code display, daylight saving on/off

This timepiece also features an Auto Calendar (pre-programmed until the year 2039), 15-second accuracy per month, Afterglow backlighting, and water resistance to 100 meters (330 feet)--offering protection from accidental splashes as well suitable for swimming, snorkeling, and light recreational diving. This solar-powered watch has a battery life of up to 5 months on a full charge (without further exposure to light). This multi-band radio-controlled watch receives a time calibration signal transmitted from several locations across the globe (the U.S. and Japan), and it has an auto receive function (up to 6 times per day). You can choose to automatically receive this signal four times a day, or manually update the watch to the atomic clock.

Great Watch, Works in St Pete, Florida December 27, 2008 Honus Wagner (New York, NY) This is a great watch and it does work in St Petersburg/Tampa Florida. I was concerned whether it would pick up the signal here because we're outside the limit for distance but apparently the signal goes a lot further than indicated. The band does seem a bit cheap, like it would break in a year or two of taking the watch off and on. Other than that, it seems to be a great watch that will never need to be set or replace a battery.
He loved it! December 16, 2008 Sam (USA) I bought this as an anniversary gift after my husband saw a cheaper one while we were out shopping. Now he does not wear cheap watches so it took the other reveiws for me to decide on this watch. Yes, it was set for Japan, but he had it set for himself within 10 minutes, if that. The band is smooth, he says it's very light on the arm. Normally he wears all metal watches so I'm sure this feels different. He likes the design, features and face. I thought it looked great too and I really don't know much about mens watches. It does not have the typical Sports Watch look, but could easily be dressed up or down. If this is a gift, buy a box. My only dissapointment was that it arrived in a black display stand in a flimsy wrapped Casio box which was more like paper. Not even a plastic box like you normally see at the stores. So I bought a small gift box and took it off of the stand.
Keeps great time December 16, 2008 Cupid (Jackson, NJ) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Great watch for people like me who like "toys" as ooposed to jewewlry. The directions are challenging and there are some functions I still can't figure out, but overall, I like it!
This watch is everything it said it was December 16, 2008 M. ALLEN (michigan) This watch is maintenance free,no winding,no setting of time dates and no batteries to buy.Im sure others will find something neg to say about this watch, but I could not find one.
Nice watch December 16, 2008 Ri Parian (Seattle, WA USA) Pros: -Hands glow in the dark after being exposed to light. -LCD display has a backlight switched by the upper right button. It glows for just long enough to read the LCD display. -The LCD display can display either the two digit day of the week and two digit day of the month, or the current time. Cons: -It is difficult to figure out how to get it to display what you want, but with some perserverence you can get it to show what you want in the language you want. -I probably have smaller than average wrists, so this watch seems a little big on me...but not too big to wear every day. I do take it off at night due to its overbearing presense.
