Not a bad price...January 31, 2007 OCBchGal(Orange County, CA United States) I'm glad I found this product online and didn't have to pay the average price for it because it's not worth it.
It would be nice if Epson or the makers of this ink would find a solution to the clogging problem. If I don't use my printer at least once a week, the ink gets clogged and I have to run the "cleaning software" and waste half the ink to get it to print properly.
Not a cost-effective product.

Very pleased with the high capacity cartridge with my Epson Stylus CX6600. "Compatibles" do not compare.

Epson has good printers but they seem to last for about 2 years & break down when installing a new ink cartridge. The C86 printer is the third Epson printer I have experienced replacing the ink cartridge with the printer failing to work any longer leaving me with an unused ink cartridge. This is my 3rd Epson printer for which this has happened. It is hard to imagine that this could be Epson's strategy. When the printer works with the ink, the ink & printer are good.

The high capacity cartridge is the better choice. Offten more black ink is used than color.
